Register of bonds for the Hudson and Berkshire Railroad Company, 1848-1949.

This series consists of a register of bonds issued for the benefit of the Hudson and Berkshire Railroad Company. The register contains copies of the original bonds - each of which is countersigned, registered, and compared with the original bond and is signed by Archibald Campbell, Deputy Secretary of State. There are 175 entries in the register, all of which are for the amount of $1,000. Numbers 1 to 100 are dated September 12, 1848; numbers 101-163 are dated December 8, 1848; and numbers 164 to 175 are dated March 29, 1849.
